When Moneta Group principal Nancy Georgen offers clients financial advice, the difference is in the details. "It's very important that I understand each client's specific goals, objectives and detailed financial information so I can advise them on investment, retirement and tax planning strategies," she says.
That strategy clearly works well. Nancy's average client relationship is longer than 15 years, and she has worked with many of her clients for more than 25 years. "This long-term perspective provides insight for both existing and new clients, as I am able to provide clients with guidance on life transitions based on personal experience with my other clients," she says.
Nancy has had a long history of success with Moneta Group, having joined the organization in 1972. Since then, she's had plenty to keep her busy. In 1989, she co-founded Retirement Plan Services, LLC, a full-service retirement plan administrative company, and continues to sit on its board today.
In her role as a Family CFO at Moneta Group, Nancy works primarily with individuals, families, business owners and professionals in the areas of investment management and financial planning, insurance and estate review, retirement and compensation planning. This includes advising on investment management and plan design for a large number of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
Nancy is a former member and past Board Chair of the Crossroads College Preparatory School Board of Trustees. She is a former member of the Fontbonne University Council of Regents and current member of the Health Protection and Education Services (HPES) board. Her outside interests include reading, community service and education. She and her husband, Michael, have two children.
