Communication and trust are the keys to the Bower Team's approach to serving as Family CFOs.  According to Ken, "Working with a limited number of clients allows us to have an intimate knowledge of each family member's specific goals and dreams. For each client, our team outlines a roadmap for financial success. Then, we execute the plan and follow up regularly."

By keeping lines of communication open, Ken and his brother, Matt, have built long-term relationships with families. "We want to ensure that each of our relationships is mutually beneficial and designed to last a lifetime."  The Bower team currently works with 85 families in 28 cities throughout the country.

Prior to joining Moneta Group, Ken worked for Price Waterhouse and was on the leadership teams of three startup companies. He earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern. He has also achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.

An active member of the St. Louis community, Ken serves as the president of the Dartmouth Club of St. Louis and is quite active as a board member of the Saint Louis Zoo and Bethesda Health Group.  He also sits on the executive committee of Young Friends of the Saint Louis Art Museum.

An avid baseball fan, Ken frequently visits Busch Stadium. Fluent in French and Spanish, he also enjoys travel and leisure reading. He and his wife, Mary, have two children, and all are proud members of Forest Park Forever.
