For Moneta Group principal Debra Light, working as a Family CFO revolves around helping her clients live their dreams. "I consider myself very fortunate to spend my life helping people realize their goals," she says. "It's truly gratifying to collaborate with each client to define their own unique hopes and goals, design a tailored plan and then nurture the process to the ultimate realization of their vision."
To help clients turn their dreams into reality, Debra is dedicated to being their advocate at all times. "I am truly passionate about being an advocate for my clients. Never for one moment do I take for granted the trust placed in me nor the charge I've been given," she says.
Debra's tenure with Moneta Group dates back to 1989. She has been a principal since 1997 and an owner since 2004. Debra earned her bachelor degrees in marketing and business administration from Webster University in 1987.
In addition to serving clients as a Family CFO, Debra is also active in the community. She currently volunteers time at STAGES ST. LOUIS in their outreach efforts benefiting disadvantaged children. She has served as chairman and treasurer for the Kids Sing for Kids Benefit for Variety Children's Charities of St. Louis. She is also a past board member for Hopefest for Salvation Army's Hope Center for Abused and Neglected Children.
