As a Family CFO, Moneta Principal Brad Koeneman says his goal is to make his clients' lives as uncomplicated as possible. "We simplify our clients' lives and are proactive in addressing their financial needs," he says.
A family's financial situation can be complex, he explains. "But we pull all of the pieces of the financial puzzle together and make sure that all decisions are consistent with each client achieving their goals."
Prior to becoming a Moneta Group principal in 2003, Brad served in executive roles at Goldman Sachs & Co., Magna Group, Inc. and A.G. Edwards & Sons. He earned his BBA in insurance and real estate from University of Memphis in 1980 and his MBA from the same university in 1981. Brad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an ACCREDITED WEALTH MANAGEMENT ADVISOR℠.
Currently, Brad serves as the chairman of the investment committee for the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Greater St. Louis. He is on the Advisory Boards for Edgewood Children's Center and Retirement Plan Services (RPS). Brad formerly served as a Board member of Pioneer Bank & Trust Co. and as a member of the Saint Louis Zoo Corporate Committee, and was the co-chair for major gifts for MICDS (Mary Institute/Country Day School).
Outside of the office, Brad enjoys golf and photography. He and his wife, Lynn, have two children.
