• Thanks to a generous donation by Moneta Group principal Peter Schick and his family, there is now The Peter G. Schick Family Cardiovascular Recovery Unit in the new East Pavilion of the Missouri Baptist Medical Center. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held in January of 2007.
• Ken Bower was featured in an articled entitled “Focus on Giving,” in the summer publication of t he St. Louis Art Museum magazine.

• Moneta Group principal Joe Sheehan was quoted in the St. Louis Business Journal in February of 2007 in an article pertaining to Buckingham’s acquisition.
• Jim Blair of Moneta Group was quoted in the St. Louis Business Journal in an article called “Bank vs. Boutique.”
• Jim Blair was featured in a two-page Q&A on estate planning that appeared in the St. Louis Business Journal on December 14 of 2007.
• The St. Louis Business Journal recognized Jim Blair’s “Top 100 Financial Advisors” ranking in both Barron’s and Worth Magazine.

• Principal Mark Heffernan was quoted in the St. Louis Post Dispatch in an article by Jerri Stroud called “Plan Now to Save on Taxes Next Spring.”
• Principal Brad Koeneman was quoted in a St. Louis Post Dispatch article on retirement planning that appeared in a June 2007 issue.
• Nancy Georgen was quoted in a June 2007 issue of the St. Louis Post Dispatch in an article discussing disability insurance.

• Diane Compardo of Moneta Group was quoted in a 2007 publication of Physician’s Money Digest in an article titled “Your Financial Liefeline is Only as Strong as Your Financial Team.”
• Moneta Group principal Chandler Taylor was quoted in Barron’s Separate Account Quarterly Report that was published in February.
• In September 2007, Moneta Group Principal Jim Blair was recognized two of the financial industry’s flagship publications, Barron’s and Worth Magazine. Both magazines named Blair as one of the Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors in the country.
• Crescendo Business Services sponsors of the FIVE STAR:  ‘Best in Client Satisfaction Award’ recently focused on “wealth managers” in St. Louis; twenty-one Moneta Group principals and consultants were recognized.
